Excellent cooks! Great friendly service.
Have a rv? Parking plentiful. Industrial area. Food good but hard to justify pricing. Definitely done by pros. If your in the mood, it's worth the time...
The food was very good. The price was fair. The service was excellent.
Stopped here while on vacation, I thought the food was excellent, the service was right up there and the Food was served quickly. Best egg Foo young I have had. Be sure to try the cucumbers.
Delicious! Loved it ik college 25 years ago and love it whenever I drive through Laramie still!
My dad and I stopped in here because it was one of the only places we could find without a wait during game day weekend. Now I know why there wasn't a wait. I asked the waiter what was good and tried one of the dishes he suggested - Szechuan beef. I've had better Chinese from a box out of the super market. My dad had the peppered beef. THE GREEN PEPPER WAS MOLDY. My dad politely told the waiter about it, who said he'd let the cook know. They didn't even offer a remedy such as discounted or not charging for his plate. I won't ever go back.
Excellent selection, tasty and superb customer service!
Good traditional Chinese food. Appetizers at the beginning were good, szechuan cucumber. Nice big size portions and great service
Amazing! Staff was wonderful, food was incredible 😍
I love this restaurant as far as chinese goes, this is bu far the best Chinese restaurant in Laramie, all the other Chinese restaurants are disappointing.
Well Half of the food was warm and it didnt taste good. And dor the price we payed the amount of food was so poor we left 5 minutes after we got owe food. Please don't eat here.
Great service for my family of 5. The food was decent and no complaints. Overall a great dining experience for my whole family.
Atmosphere is lovely! Great service and the waitor was funny:) Wontons were the best. Will be back for more!
Good meal. Food served promptly.
Super friendly and good! Nothing extravagant from the outside, but inside it’s nice and clean and spacious. Staff was incredibly friendly, service was quick and attentive. Appetizers gratis along with the meal order, and the food was on point - not over-fried or overpowered by any one flavor, a good mix. This should absolutely be your go-to for Chinese in Laramie. Highly recommended.
They close at 9 pm on Friday night, got there at 8 pm had to order take out. So we got takeout, got back to room and extra vegetables we paid for were was not in the containers. I ordered the asparagus and Shrimp in white sauce, very small portions. Egg roles are extra, not included.
Always our choice when wanting Chinese food.
The staff very polite, cuisine choices, sauces, and we ordered many, all very yummy satisfactory! Our 1st visit, Thanks New Mandarin, you have my vote!
Had the dinner special with three others, everything was absolutely delicious and everyone in the party enjoyed it. There were no repeat flavors or sauces--everything was unique and equally tasty. The interior was a bit off-putting at first, but the food was amazing. We were served quickly and all the food was hot and well prepared, including the best sweet and sour chicken any of us had ever had. Will definitely go back again, we had a great experience and the wait staff was polite.
Food and price are very nice. Good portions for price paid. Friendly staff. The only place in Laramie I go for Chinese food.
Did someone play a joke...Your food description did not state red chili pepper seeds in Mongolian beef on your menu. $46 and the seeds made me sick. Mongolian Beef is my favorite and safe food for me to eat normally. Very disappointed in my visit to Laramie.
Definitely 5 star. Service was generously consistent. Cook was great. Im not a diner but this was way better than any buffet.
Wow this food was great service . Mongolian beef tasty and good. Wife and I Loved it.
Way better than it used to be. I used to go here on occasion because while it wasn't great, it was the best Chinese in town. That wasn't saying much. But yesterday I ordered some from here for delivery and I have to say Bravo. I don't know what they changed or if they got a new chef or something along those lines. But whoever they hired now knows what he or she is doing and they need to retain them for sure. Went from a 3 start at best to a 5 star for the price easily.
Love the food! I just wish you could order online instead of over the phone.
My daughter really like the salted green soybeans boiled in their pods, and the fortune cookie.
For being closed July 4th-6th and not updating it on Google or your website. Unprofessional.
The best tofu I've ever had! Try the beancurd homestyle!
Always excellent for over 30 years.
Excellent food, prompt serviceKudos! I accidentally left my purse with a large (to me) amount of money hanging on chair back. I called the restaurant and spoke with the lady who found it. She had called the Laramie Police Dept who collected it. Everything was intact. I was impressed with the Honesty and integrity, I am grateful. Oh and food excellent restaurant clean and orderly. Welcome to the United States of America. Respectfully an old paratrooper
Excellent service Wonderful foodFlavors are spot on Prices are reasonable
The quality of the food is actually amazing, as I am a picky Asian guy. It is not too salty or too blend at all. The food actually made me miss my hometown.Definitely a five star for this place!
Love this place
Best place for Chinese food in Laramie! Friendly, clean, and quick. Everything on the menu is reasonably priced. Good sized dining area. Delivery is also good. Gets to your place still hot!
We order from them probably at least once a month. Always answer the phone promptly, I've only been put on hold once and they were super busy. They always deliver very fast, under 40 minutes. And best of all, they have really good food that is pretty freakin authentic. Service is sometimes lacking, but really, you're gonna throw a fit and give up good food over that? Especially if it was some fluke, one-time bad experience?
Delicious as usual. I had the Sizzling Seafood Plate, my standard for the past couple of years. Took home an order of curried shrimp. Ate it the next day during the AFC championship game. Mildly spicy yellow curry, my favorite spice. First time trying it at the New Mandarin. I'll have to get it more often. The service was what I have come to expect, quick & friendly.
I will definitely eat here again. The wait staff was attentive without being obnoxious. The food was great and the everything was very fresh. For an appetizer, try the schezwan cucumbers. They were amazing.
Best Chinese food ever.
This had to be the most horrid meal I've ever had. I would have rather had a week old cold bologna sandwich. Over priced and just plain horrible
Great food, great service and very nice people! We're lucky to have New Mandarin in town
Placed an order for take out. The Chicken Lo Mein had pieces of meat so small that at first I didn't think it had any. The deluxe Fried rice had 2 pieces of Shrimp, 2 pieces of Beef and the same tiny pieces of Chicken as the Lo Mein.
The service was outstanding, the food was outstanding, the atmospherewas outstanding, so it was outstanding. My son comes to visit from Colorado and we always come here. Thank you!!
We stopped in for dinner, very nice staff and nice menu choices. We got free szechuan cucumbers and fried wonton, the cucumbers were really good. We ordered the pupu platter, Mongolian beef and General's chicken. Pupu platter was unremarkable. General's chicken was ok, Mongolian beef was delicious and our favorite!!! We are limited with Chinese choices here in Laramie but we were overall happy with the food and the service. We will be back :)
We enjoyed dinner while traveling through Laramie. The service and food were very good.
Spend your $$ elsewhere, rude ownership if they screw up your order, or the it's not right they won't attempt to make right. Owners need a lesson in customer service. I will say the food is normally pretty good, but other great places in town that appreciate my business.
They changed the sesame chicken for take out/delivery. Very little sauce, very disappointing.
Really poor dining experience, severely lacking in Fresh protein ingredients and poor food prep. Hoping to avoid gastrointestinal issues as the food tasted off. I only consumed small portion of my meal but was told by the manager that they do not comp for unsatisfied customers. In the end I was given half off my entree after a great deal of push back. My advice is to use good judgment and not dine at this restaurant. On a lighter note the wait staff was friendly. The manager was exceptionally off putting And argumentative in his approach to customers.
Stopped by tonight after helping move my son from UofW and had fantastic meal. Food was excellent and waitress was a sweetheart. Highly recommend!
Food is good, but the dining hours are a bit unusual and hard to understand.
I have ordered their food pretty consistently once a month or so for five years now! I usually order the sesame chicken. Tonight I felt like trying something different. I ended up getting the Mongolian Beef and what a kick in the pants! I can’t really handle spicy food and this was spicy! I ate the entire dish, sure, my mouth is on fire and I am currently eating ice cream but it was worth it! The New Mandarin is always worth it! Good service and good food!
